While Adam was home for Christmas break we had lots of time to spend together. We didn't get much snow, but when we did Adam and Gavin headed out to play. This was our first year here in Cleveland for Christmas. I was a little homesick, but we had a great Christmas with our little family. Last night before heading to bed I did my nightly check on my little ones. I love looking at little G when he is sleeping...so calm and peaceful.....a rare sight ;). Gavin loved helping bring in our Christmas tree. He loves the lights, and makes sure I get them turned on first thing in the morning. The tree looks progressively a little more bare at the bottom every day, but I don't am learning not to mind. Cute little Ruby is a growing girl. She had her two month check up today.....10 lbs. 7 ounces. 22 inches. She's in the 50-75 percentile. I am so grateful for such a healthy baby girl. Oh how I love her.

Well, little Ruby is quickly passing the one month mark. At her one month check up she weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 21 inches long. I can't believe how quickly she is losing that little newborn look!

Adam had the day off today so we headed up to Patterson farm for the afternoon. It was a great place for kids. I love watching Gavin with his little sister. He sure loves her. He is always trying to touch her face, give her kisses etc...  especially when she is snoozing. If Ruby is sleeping upstairs he always asks where "Wuby" is and goes looking for her. I think these two will make a good little team.

I was lucky enough to have my mom come out here a few days after having Ruby. She was here for a week and then my Dad headed out to join her. It was so nice have the extra help. I felt pretty good about managing two kids......and then they left. Ha. That's when the real party started. ;) Actually, I am feeling pretty good and  am loving having two little kiddos who keep me busy all day long.

We are so happy to have our little Ruby with us. She was born on September 14th at 3:07 pm. She weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz, and was 19 inches long. I was having contractions early Wednesday morning and when I got to the hospital to be induced my contractions were about 3 minutes apart, and I was dilated to a 4. We were off to a good start. I got hooked up to the pitocin around 10 am to get things going

Today my handsome hubby turned 28. Lots of our time was spent out by the pool. Gavin loved playing in the water, and being outside.  Nothing like a nice, cold otter pop. He is now in Brazil for the next two years, and I still can't believe he is old enough to be out on his own in a foreign country! He is going to be a great missionary. A few weeks ago we headed down to Amish country to the Rolling Ridge Ranch. It was really fun! They have a pretty sweet petting zoo, and then you can go on a wagon ride where all these crazy animals come right up to you looking for food. They would eat right out of our little buckets or your hand if you are really brave. They have some pretty wild (and big) animals on this farm. Gavin loved it.

My parents came to visit last week for a few days. I love, love, love when they come. We went to an Indian's game...they won at the last minute and had a sweet fire works show at the end. It was a great game. We had a wonderful Easter this year. I love all the Easter festivities, and we had fun searching for eggs on an Easter egg hunt, dying eggs, and enjoying our Easter dinner with friends. Adam had almost a month off of school this holiday season so.....we headed out west. Our first stop was to Oregon. It was so nice to relax and enjoy not having any responsibilities. On our way home from Palmyra we stopped off to check out the falls. They were amazing! So, so cool. We took the Maid of the Mist boat right up next to the falls and got nice and wet (The same boat tour Jim and Pam, from The Office, got married on.....in case you were wondering). So, I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the product testers for the new Puj Tub. It is designed for a baby 0-6 months old, and helps keep your baby safe and comfortable while bathing him. We had Gavin's baby blessing today. We were so glad Adam's parents could make it up for the day, and for the great friends we have made who were able to help with the blessing. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband and for the priesthood in our home. I love this picture
