We went to the beach a couple weeks ago. Gavin loved every minute. Sand, and water....not too hard to make this boy happy.

Niagara Falls
On our way home from Palmyra we stopped off to check out the falls. They were amazing! So, so cool. We took the Maid of the Mist boat right up next to the falls and got nice and wet (The same boat tour Jim and Pam, from The Office, got married on.....in case you were wondering). Gavin loved the boat ride minus the fact that he was overly tired.
Camping in New York
We have been having so much fun with Adam being out of school for a few weeks. Last week we took a little trip to Palmyra, NY. When we got there we set up camp, and about 15 minutes later the rain came pouring down for over an hour. We had fun listening to the rain in our tent, but were glad when it was over. Luckily that was the only rain of our trip.
The next day we headed out to check out all the church history sites. We ate lunch up on Hill Camorah, walked around the Palmyra Temple, toured the Joseph Smith farm and walked through the sacred grove.
That night we watched the Hill Camorah Temple Pageant. It was amazing! Loved being in Palmyra...and loved walking through the beautiful and peaceful sacred grove.
Off to a good start.

1 Year Down
Adam just finished his first year of med school....hooray! He has worked so hard this first year and I am so proud of him. Today we celebrated by going to dinner at this new burger place in Cleveland. So yummy...especially their chocolate shake...amazing! Here's to the next 3 years!

Just So Silly
Oh, this picture makes me laugh. Little G does this all the time when he's not in the tub. He'll look at me through his legs and smile. Well, tonight he decided to try it in the tub. Such a silly little guy.
No walking yet, but he sure has perfected the standing. And, he loves those citrus scented wet wipes.
Our 4th of July Weekend
Saturday we played in the park and had a BBQ with some friends. It was the perfect day to be outside.
Gavin and his friend Charlotte.
By Sunday afternoon this is what we looked like.....
tired and ready for a nap!
We were going to try and watch some fireworks, but every city close by wasn't doing them this year...such a bummer. But, some of our friends invited us over to watch their little fireworks show. So, I was glad we got to see some fireworks. Gavin on the other hand wasn't so sure about all the loud noises. Every time a firework would go off he would scream like I have never heard before, and then he was fine. He got used to them after a while, but I think he was just glad to get home and back to his bed.
