One Week Old

We have had a great first week! It's hard to believe it has only been a week that we have had little Gavin. He is doing so well, but misses his Grandma who left us yesterday. We loved having her here! She was so helpful and it was sad to see her leave, as always. But, we had fun while she was here and can't wait to see her again. Thanks Grandma!

He's here!! Gavin was born on August 28, weighing in at 6 lbs. 9 oz and 20 inches long. He is doing great and we are so happy to have him here and part of our family. We love you so much Gavin!

40 Weeks

Well, nothing too exciting to report yet. I'm dilated to a 2, 50% effaced and just waiting for this little guy to get here. We can't wait, and are so ready to see him!

Another Year Older

Yesterday was Adam's birthday....number 26! We had some friends over and enjoyed some cake and ice cream. It was a fun night! Unfortunately this is the only decent picture I took and Adam's not even looking...but it works.

White Coat Ceremony

Adam starts his first day of podiatry school tomorrow, so today we went to his "white coat ceremony". All the students from his class were called up individually to receive their white coats, some of the teachers said a few remarks, and then we had a light lunch at the school.

Adam has worked so hard to get here and I am proud of all the sacrifices he has made for our family. He's excited and anxious to get started in school and I know he will do great! What a handsome guy, huh?
