18 months

I can't believe this cute little thing is 18 months! She went to nursery for the first time today, and did great! She is still my little baby, and can't believe she is old enough to be in there. My little Ruby girl makes me so happy. She is such a joy and knows how to make me smile everyday. Some of her favorite things right now are:

Her "cee-cee" or toothbrush with "bubble" or toothpaste.
"Ah-me" this means she usually wants any sort of candy or treat she can get her cute little hands on.
Books... she loves, loves to just sit down on my lap and flip through stacks of books. I love it too.
Her "binkie" and her "binkie". Translation: her binkie and her blankie.
Wants a book when she goes down for her nap now
She also has to have every blanket in sight stacked on top of her while I sing to her before I lay her down for bed.
"go-go"...go-gurts
She loves putting on Gavin's clothes. Almost everyday she grabs one of his shirts or pjs and wants us to put them on. Sometimes she wants his underwear on too. She'll walk around all day in his clothes. So dang cute.
She loves to go outside and walk around.
She's afraid of ants.

I can't imagine my life without this sweet girl. I feel so blessed to be her mother and just want to squeeze her every chance I get. Stop growing baby girl.

January Recap

The beginning of January started off slow with two sick kids. Gavin started off with a bad cold which turned into a little pneumonia and an ear infection. He was bound to the couch for a couple days. He was SICK. Then Ruby got pretty sick with a couple ear infections but luckily no pneumonia... Just a bad cold. Adam was gone for residency interviews for most of the sickness. We were so happy when he came home.
January was long, but we made it through. No more sickies, and let's keep it that way!

We had fun playing in the snow.

Ruby's boot came off and she needs snow pants. She has some now. ;)
Looking out the window while Gavin plays in the snow. She wishes she was out there too.
Frosted Mini Wheats and whip cream for breakfast...yum!
Love this girl.
These guys love their daddy...so do I. :)
Sick little guy.
The day Adam got home from interviews. Rubes loves her Daddy.
A little trip to Chick-fil-A. Our fave.
Gavin needs a hair cut. :)
My view from inside while these guys have fun in the cold.

A little dinner celebration after we found out Adam passed boards part 2!
Cuties in Sunday school.
Love this picture.
They love each other and playing games on any electronic device they can get their hands on.

A Cleveland Christmas--Christmas Day

Christmas morning was so fun seeing the kids faces light up. It is so magical for them. I love watching their little expressions.
Ready to head downstairs to see if Santa came.
This is Ruby's new little face she makes...love it.
Santa delivered. Gavin was in heaven with his new spy plane from "Cars 2"
Apparently Adam is a little excited about our breakfast casserole.
Ruby loves her new baby stroller.

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

A Cleveland Christmas--Christmas Eve

This was our second Christmas here in Cleveland away from family. Although I miss being with family (baking, playing games, watching movies) it was fun laying low here at home. Adam has been busy studying for his boards part 2 exam that he takes this Friday...eeek! So, it was nice to have a couple days of just having fun and spending time together. Christmas Eve was spent making sugar cookies, and playing in the snow. My kids love being outside in the snow...seriously I don't think they ever realize that they are cold. The kids got some new Christmas jammies that I made :). They fit perfect and they loved them...success. We read in Luke 2 and watched the little movie online as well. Watched "The Grinch" and got the kids to bed early. Luckily Gavin reminded me about leaving cookies out for Santa and some food for the reindeer. Adam and I watched "A Wonderful Life"-love that movie. Our Christmas Eve was perfect.

Ruby was a pro with that rolling pin.

Just enjoying a little Christmas Eve candy cane.

Fun in a Box

This box provided a few days worth of fun. It was a house, and a favorite reading spot apparently.
