Columbus Zoo

One of the first weeks we were here in Columbus we took a trip to the Columbus Zoo and got our memberships for the year. It is one of the top zoos in the nation. We will be going back many times for sure. We were there all day and still didn't even see everything. The kids loved the petting zoo, the train and the dinosaur boat ride. We also liked the crazy monkeys that climbed all over the walls, and the vampire bats. Those things are pretty creepy!

Visit with Grandma and Grandpa Gerber and Merrill

While both grandparents were here for Adam's graduation we did some fun things. We headed to Amish country one day. We ate some really yummy food at Der Dutchman, and had so much fun at the Rolling Ridge Ranch. We went to Kirtland one day, and had fun swimming at the hotel. Friday night we went to a Cleveland Indian's baseball game. It was a great night. We love going to those games. It was great having them here, and we were so happy that they could all be here for the celebration. Gavin and Ruby were thrilled to have both sets of grandparents here at the same time!

Ruby loved to hold the chicks but would just throw them back in when she was done. Haha.

Ruby wasn't afraid of these giant animals one bit. She loved to get as close as she possibly could.

Um, I am in love with this photo. Seriously, she is the cutest thing.
