Thanksgiving

We had a great thanksgiving here in Ohio. We missed seeing our families, but had a good time with some good friends. We ate lots of yummy food, and were all tired and ready for some relaxation.

And today, we woke up to the first snow of the season!

Pumpkins!

We had a great time tonight carving pumpkins with some friends. I mean....Adam did a great job carving our pumpkins, while I watched! I love the thought of carving pumpkins, but when it gets down to it, I always get sick of it pretty quickly. Adam's pretty creative and does a good job, while my pumpkin always ends up looking a little sad. I still need to take a picture of Adam's finished product. More to come of our Halloween festivities!

Surprise!

I am leaving for Oregon today and won't be here for my birthday. Adam was so sweet and had a little surprise party for me with some of our good friends! He brought me balloons, a card and some peanut m&m's. He even got our good friend Dawn to make me an awesome cake! What a great guy, huh? Thanks for coming guys! We are so grateful to have such wonderful friends here!

Baby Monte

Our friends Dawn and Brian just had their beautiful baby boy, Monte Cook, yesterday. He has a full head of beautiful dark brown hair. We are so excited for them! But....unfortunatley we took no pictures of him up close. Good job to us. So I guess you will have to suffice with one of us and baby Monte.P.S. Reasons for lack of posts in the past month = school, work (lots and lots of it for Adam), internship, and sleeping....that is our life as of now.

Yay for good friends!

These past couple of days our friends Shawn and Chelsea stayed with us before heading off to their family reunion. We were so excited to see them since it has been almost a full year since they graduated and left Rexburg. It was great to catch up and see their cute little girl, Callie. We had fun going to the temple, out to dinner and just being together. We can't wait till we see you guys again! You are great friends, and Rexburg isn't the same with out you! We miss you already, and we're sad to see you leave. Come back soon!

Basketball

We have had a fun filled weekend. We started out on Friday night preparing our shirts for our ward basketball tournament with our friends Dan and Kami. I think everyone had a great time, equalling a great success!

Although we failed to win the tournament, we definatley enjoyed the giant subway sub that almost didn't fit into our car.
