Visit with Grandma and Grandpa Gerber and Merrill

While both grandparents were here for Adam's graduation we did some fun things. We headed to Amish country one day. We ate some really yummy food at Der Dutchman, and had so much fun at the Rolling Ridge Ranch. We went to Kirtland one day, and had fun swimming at the hotel. Friday night we went to a Cleveland Indian's baseball game. It was a great night. We love going to those games. It was great having them here, and we were so happy that they could all be here for the celebration. Gavin and Ruby were thrilled to have both sets of grandparents here at the same time!

Ruby loved to hold the chicks but would just throw them back in when she was done. Haha.

Ruby wasn't afraid of these giant animals one bit. She loved to get as close as she possibly could.

Um, I am in love with this photo. Seriously, she is the cutest thing.

Adam's Graduation

Well, the day finally came and went. Adam graduated from Kent State on May 16, 2013! He is now officially a doctor of Podiatric Medicine. It was such an exciting day filled with lots of emotions. Both mine and Adam's parents were able to be there to support him. He has been working so hard these last 8 years of school. It is such a nice feeling to be done with school, but at the same time a little sad. We love all the friends we have made and all the memories that have come from our schooling years. Now on to the next chapter in our lives...residency. We have been here in Columbus for almost 2 weeks now. Adam starts his orientation for residency at Ohio State Medical Center on Tuesday. He is excited to get back in the swing of things. We have been trying to soak up all the time left with dad. He has been home for the past 3 1/2 months so it will definitely take some adjusting to him being gone all the time.
I am so proud of Adam and all his hard work. I'm so grateful for all he does for our family, and am excited for our new little life here in Columbus where we will be for the next 3 years.
