Graduation

Well, graduation was this past Friday and I am officially a college graduate! It was such an awesome experience! I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Health Science and have learned so much. Both my parents and Adam's parents came up for a few days, which was a lot of fun and I am so grateful to them for making the trip up here. President Uchtdorf spoke and gave a very inspiring message.

It is a bittersweet feeling to be done. I am going to miss learning new things everyday and being a part of BYU-I, but I am excited to have graduated and to actually have some time to do some of the things I want to do. Now, on to finding a job!

In case you were wondering, we are still in Rexburg. Adam starts school at the beginning of January and we will be here through the summer. And....... the roads are already covered in snow and ice - the good news: only one winter left!!
Here is President Uchtdorf speaking at the banquet before commencement.

Thanksgiving

We had fun this past week in Utah for Thanksgiving. As always, it was great spending time with the family. We had fun staying up late playing games, watching movies and we went to the Body World exhibit which is amazing! And, here we are after eating way too much food. That's what it's all about, right? Hope you all had a very happy Thanksgiving! And of course a couple pics of our cute nieces and nephew

San Diego

Last week Adam went down to San Diego with his family before his brother, Jordan, left for his mission (which was today! Good luck Jo!) They had fun going to Disneyland and relaxing on the beach. Yes, I was a little jealous since I couldn't go and had to stay home going to school, working and internship, but Adam took lots of pictures of everyone for me. Who could resist these little cuties......

Adam also had another interview in Oakland at a Podiatry school there, and he got accepted as well! We are very excited! Now time to decide....Ohio or California.

Way To Go Adam!

Adam returned home from Ohio this weekend with.......... an acceptance letter from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine! We are both really excited! He has another interview in Oakland, CA next week, so who knows where we will be next fall! Anyways....good job to Adam for all his hard work and dedication in school to get him this far!

Genius

For those of you who are not much of the scrap booking type, like myself. Or, for lack of time aren't able to do it as often as you like, look no further than here. Whoever thought of this is amazing! It simply "slups" all the posts you want from your blog and puts them into a hard bound book. You can customize it and take posts out you don't want, move things around etc... I am really not a scrapbooker but I want to keep track of my pictures and this way I don't have to do the work twice! Anyways, you can read more about it on the site! Happy Blogging!

Spooky

We had our ward Halloween party this weekend. It turned out great and so many people came! We were really excited to see our party turn out so well and to see every one dressed up and having a good time. Adam and I dressed up as Egyptian people. (Adam says I was Cleopatra and he was my boyfriend. Haha.)
We also carved pumpkins this weekend, which started out fun and then I remembered growing up; by the end of the night me and my brothers would always be begging Dad to finish for us because our arms were sooo tired. Not much has changed except I now get to ask Adam to finish for me, and he did....such a nice husband.
P.S. Sorry for the lack of quality pictures (blurriness) We are in need of a new camera, or maybe we are in need of some better picture taking skills. (I think both.)
P.P.S. Adam left today for an interview at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine! Good luck love!

Reba, Kelly and Family

This weekend Adam and I went down to Utah. On Friday I went with my best friend Liz to a Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson concert. It was a lot of fun and they put on a great show!
It was also great to spend time with Adam's family. We loved seeing everyone especially the little girls, James and new baby Cameron. Thanks for a fun weekend! We miss you all already and can't wait to see you again!

Baby Monte

Our friends Dawn and Brian just had their beautiful baby boy, Monte Cook, yesterday. He has a full head of beautiful dark brown hair. We are so excited for them! But....unfortunatley we took no pictures of him up close. Good job to us. So I guess you will have to suffice with one of us and baby Monte.P.S. Reasons for lack of posts in the past month = school, work (lots and lots of it for Adam), internship, and sleeping....that is our life as of now.

Mesa Falls Half Marathon

Before my family left My Dad and I ran in the Mesa Falls Half Marathon. It was great to run with him, even though he did beat me........wait for the next one Dad.

Home

The past couple weeks we have had a great time spending time with family....swimming, a wedding, going to lagoon and reuniting with relatives not seen nearly enough. We started out with the long drive to Oregon for a week and then headed down to California for my cousin's wedding. The next stop was Utah to visit my Grandma and going to Lagoon. It was back to Rexburg from there. My family came for a few days and then it was time to say goodbye. I hate goodbyes, and I am always left feeling a little empty whenever I leave my family or they leave me. But, I guess we can't be on vacation forever.....back to real life. Thanks Mom and Dad for your hospitality and for always providing a place to call home. Miss you already......

Birthday number 25!

Happy, happy birthday to Adam! He turned the big 25 yesterday!

Ucon Rodeo

This weekend we went to Ucon, Idaho for the annual 24th of July rodeo weekend (a week later). We had so much fun with Adam's family.....floating the river, playing at Rigby lake and of course all the delicious food and the rodeo on Saturday night! I only got a few pictures because we couldn't find our camera Saturday night. So sad. But, we did find it Sunday morning in the trunk of our car sitting in Adam's shoes. So, here are a couple photos before we braved the freezing cold water.

Yellowstone

I am a little slow at posting, but at least I got these up here. A few weeks ago we went to Yellowstone for the day. It was a lot of fun even though we didn't see a whole lot of wildlife. We saw a few buffalo, elk and a bald eagle. Adam also saw a wolf on our drive there which he was really excited about.
