Puj Tub

So, I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the product testers for the new Puj Tub. It is designed for a baby 0-6 months old, and helps keep your baby safe and comfortable while bathing him. So, tonight we tried it out for the first time. It worked well. It didn't really fit in the sink in our bathroom (I think our sink is a little smaller than most), but we were able to use it in our kitchen sink. That sink was a little big, but it worked out. The tub was secure the whole time, and I really like the fact that I could have water in it to keep my little guy warm. It was nice not having to take the time to fill up a regular bath tub; the puj was quick and easy. But, since my baby has been used to taking a bath in a regular tub now with room to move around and splash, it was a little bit different for him, but he had no complaints. The Puj tub is really durable and it is really easy to store. I love that I can just hang it on the back of the bathroom door. I don't have a lot of space where I live, so it is great to not have a huge baby tub with no where to store it.

I think the Puj tub is a great product, and I would suggest it to other moms. I don't think I will use it with my baby anymore right now because he is at the stage where he just wants to splash around and kick his legs and arms all over the place (he is 3 1/2 months, and quite the mover). So, the Puj tub made it a little hard for him to do that. But, I do wish I had this tub when he was a brand new baby. He hated baths for the first month or so, and I think this would have really helped him to have a better experience. I know I would have felt like I had more control, and that my baby was a little safer.

Just Hangin' Out

This is what Gavin does sometimes while I get dressed in the morning. He loves to sit up and is always so content just hanging out on the bed watching me.

4 Years

Happy Anniversary to us! I can't believe it has already been four years Adam and I have been married. What a wonderful husband he is. I am so grateful for him and for who he is. I love you Adam, and love the life we have together.

3 Months Old

Can't believe my little baby has gone from this

to this in just 3 months.

Gavin in growing bigger and bigger every day. I love his squishy cheecks, and snuggly body. He loves to smile and talk, and wiggle around, and I love to laugh and talk and kiss his big juicy lips. I love, love, love my baby. (And so does his daddy.)

Thanksgiving

We had a great thanksgiving here in Ohio. We missed seeing our families, but had a good time with some good friends. We ate lots of yummy food, and were all tired and ready for some relaxation.
And today, we woke up to the first snow of the season!

So Thankful

For my healthy little baby
And my amazing husband
Since Thanksgiving is on Thursday (Can you believe it is already here!) I have been thinking a lot about all the things I have to be thankful for: My little family. I feel so blessed to have such a loving husband who works so hard in school, and still finds time to spend with me and little G-man. He sure loves his little guy, and it is so sweet watching him put him to bed at night, and how gentle he is with him.
I am so grateful for a healthy baby who brings so much joy to my life. I can't imagine life without him.
I am thankful for a warm bed to sleep in at night, a place to call home, good friends, food in my fridge, my family.
What are you thankful for?
And just for fun....

Gavin's Blessing

We had Gavin's baby blessing today. We were so glad Adam's parents could make it up for the day, and for the great friends we have made who were able to help with the blessing. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband and for the priesthood in our home.
I love this picture

Ward Halloween Party

We had our ward Halloween party tonight. There was a chili cook off, costume contest and trick or treating for the kids. It was a lot of fun, even if our chili didn't win. There were lots of great costumes, but I think this little dinosaur was the cutest.

Pumpkins!

We had a great time tonight carving pumpkins with some friends. I mean....Adam did a great job carving our pumpkins, while I watched! I love the thought of carving pumpkins, but when it gets down to it, I always get sick of it pretty quickly. Adam's pretty creative and does a good job, while my pumpkin always ends up looking a little sad. I still need to take a picture of Adam's finished product. More to come of our Halloween festivities!

-Taking naps with mom in the morning when she decides to go back to bed until 10 or 11.
-And of course, he loves to be held

Fall Colors

One thing I love about Ohio is all the beautiful fall colors! This is a picture I took from my front door. Every time I am out driving I can't help but just stare at all the trees that line the side of the road. Fall is here!

Home Again

Gavin and I had a great time in Oregon. It was so fun to see my brother come home from his mission and to see some extended family that I don't get to see too often anymore. It was hard to say good-bye, and I am always left feeling a little sad as I give a final hug to my mom and dad, but it was good to come home to a husband so ready to have his family back with him. We missed him, and were so excited to see him again. Here's just a few highlights from our trip.
