Oregon- Part 3........The End

Lots of our time was spent out by the pool. Gavin loved playing in the water, and being outside.

Nothing like a nice, cold otter pop. Every time Gavin got out of the pool and sat on the chair, he would say, "parnicle?" or popsicle....haha. He had his little routine down....swim, rest, eat popsicle....and repeat.

Cute little summer feet.

My mom broke her foot somewhere along the way. She wasn't too happy about that. It was quite fun pushing her around the store in a wheel chair though. Gavin loved riding on Grandma's lap as we strolled the isles of Target, and Fred Meyer.
Gavin and Emerson enjoying a little cousin bath time.
My favorite. Gavin loves his grandpa, and continues to ask for grandpa now that we are home.
The End.

Oregon-Part 2

I have so many great photos of this trip thanks to my talented sister-in-law, Corinne....it's so hard to decide what to put on here, so there are lots.
(Thanks again Corinne for all the lovely pics.)

We had our traditional breakfast trip to Roosters.....two trips actually. They have the best cinnamon rolls!

Gavin loved playing with cousin Hallie. He would wake up in the morning and go straight to the couch saying "hand, hand" while grabbing her hand and taking her off to play. They were so cute to watch.
We spent lots of time relaxin' on the couch.

My two talented brothers at the piano.
We ate some yummy food....at Big AL's.
We ate the best cupcakes EVER at Larry's Cakes in Ashland.
And, I got to see my best friend, Liz, and her husband Heath. Oh, how I wish we lived closer.

Off To Brazil

Part of the reason I went to Oregon when I did was to see my baby brother off on his LDS mission! He is now in Brazil for the next two years, and I still can't believe he is old enough to be out on his own in a foreign country! He is going to be a great missionary. It was fun to spend some time with him before he left, and see him get on that plane to Brazil (a little bittersweet.....I miss him already).

What handsome brothers I have! It's crazy to think that just a few years ago this cute boy in the green was headed off to Brazil as well!
Watching Uncle Grant Elder Merrill board the plane.
The night before he left.
Most of the family that came for the occasion.
I love this picture.....such a priceless face by the little g-man. Who wants to take pictures, when there is grass and rocks to run around and play with?

Oregon-part 1

Oh, how I love Oregon! Now, where to begin....Gavin and I are back from our two weeks at my parents. Our trip began with Gavin's first movie theater experience.....Cars 2. He did so well, and was so excited about the movie and his "pa-corn", but then he got a little tired (a 3 hour time difference will do that to ya).

Next....a little 4th of July celebration complete with a delicious dutch oven meal prepared by my dad.
Me with cousins Hallie and Paige
My Aunt Marian, mom and I.
(Don't you just love our matching Old Navy flag shirts? We were all so patriotic thanks to my mom.)
The little man enjoying a 4th of July cupcake
Getting his first taste of the pool.

Gavin and Hallie became the best of friends.
Now, I'm off to bed......stay tuned....this is only the beginning. There is much more to come of our trip!
