We had a fun (and very hot) fourth of July. We spent the evening with friends eating yummy shrimp and other good food. We were going to eat outside, but it was too hot so we moved the party to the basement. The kids had fun playing in the water outside. Gavin loved the sparklers, and was super excited about the snakes. Remember those things? I love how the simplest things make this boy's day. After one of the fireworks went off he ran over to a group of mom's...held his hands out and said, "ta-dah!" That's his new phrase....not sure where he learned it, but it's pretty cute. If you aren't excited about something, this boy will make sure and change that. Love his excitement for life.
