Beautiful Weather

The past few days have been just beautiful! I'm talkin' 80 degrees! My birthday was yesterday and it was so nice to have such warm weather to celebrate in. Adam, Gavin and I had some yummy Mexican food for dinner and Adam brought home an ice cream cake (mint chocolate chip....my fav)! He is the best.

Then we spent the evening enjoying the weather outside. Gavin loves being outside! So many new things to explore.

6 Months Old

I can't believe it....my baby is growing up so fast. Today he is six months old and I love him more and more everyday. He definatley has his own little personality; he is loud, happy, always moving, rolling over and wanting to crawl but can't quite figure it out yet. He loves it when his dad comes home from school and throws him in the air. I love watching him grow and learn new skills everyday, and I feel so blessed to be his mom.

Trying out sweet potatoes for the first time. I think he liked them. These are the best pictures I could get. He either closes his eyes when the flash goes off or smiles and then gives me a blank stare when I take the picture. Oh, he makes me smile. Check out those lips! This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it.And this is what he does all the time while eating. He wants to check everything out behind him. Or he does this when he's done. What a silly little guy.And, just looking so cute and relaxed.

Late Night Snack

Lately Gavin has been staying up later than usual...I guess he just doesn't want to miss out on the late night chips and salsa. This picture pretty much depicts our everyday....baby G on hip, holding on tight to that hair....love it.

Something To Play With

Gavin was a little curious today waking up from his nap with his new taggie blanket. He looks a little confused and is probably wondering why I am holding that big black thing that flashes in his face again.

Anyways, I made him this the other night....super easy and a good short little project...just how I like them.

Back In Business

Good news....our roof has been fixed and the leaking has stopped! Well, until tonight that is. There is one that started up again in the office, but oh well, I'll call again tomorrow. Now, onto getting the drywall replaced...so fun!

Onto more exciting news, my little guy is lovin' his new seat....well for about 5 minutes or so, and then he's done and just wants to lay down and move around! He's a mover!

Also, Gavin's new excitement.....his feet!

Puj Tub

So, I was lucky enough to be chosen as one of the product testers for the new Puj Tub. It is designed for a baby 0-6 months old, and helps keep your baby safe and comfortable while bathing him. So, tonight we tried it out for the first time. It worked well. It didn't really fit in the sink in our bathroom (I think our sink is a little smaller than most), but we were able to use it in our kitchen sink. That sink was a little big, but it worked out. The tub was secure the whole time, and I really like the fact that I could have water in it to keep my little guy warm. It was nice not having to take the time to fill up a regular bath tub; the puj was quick and easy. But, since my baby has been used to taking a bath in a regular tub now with room to move around and splash, it was a little bit different for him, but he had no complaints. The Puj tub is really durable and it is really easy to store. I love that I can just hang it on the back of the bathroom door. I don't have a lot of space where I live, so it is great to not have a huge baby tub with no where to store it.

I think the Puj tub is a great product, and I would suggest it to other moms. I don't think I will use it with my baby anymore right now because he is at the stage where he just wants to splash around and kick his legs and arms all over the place (he is 3 1/2 months, and quite the mover). So, the Puj tub made it a little hard for him to do that. But, I do wish I had this tub when he was a brand new baby. He hated baths for the first month or so, and I think this would have really helped him to have a better experience. I know I would have felt like I had more control, and that my baby was a little safer.

Just Hangin' Out

This is what Gavin does sometimes while I get dressed in the morning. He loves to sit up and is always so content just hanging out on the bed watching me.

3 Months Old

Can't believe my little baby has gone from this

to this in just 3 months.

Gavin in growing bigger and bigger every day. I love his squishy cheecks, and snuggly body. He loves to smile and talk, and wiggle around, and I love to laugh and talk and kiss his big juicy lips. I love, love, love my baby. (And so does his daddy.)

Getting Bigger

Today Gavin had his one month doc appointment. He's a growing boy! He is in the 25% for his weight at 8 lbs 11 oz. and 50% for height at 21 in. It is so fun to watch him grow and change. He is definitely more aware now, and looking around all the time.
